What is Simulation?

Simulation, as defined by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSIH) Healthcare Simulation Dictionary, “allows students to develop or enhance their knowledge, skills, and attitudes or to analyze and respond to realistic situations in a simulated environment.” But what does this mean for health care curricula and how do we use simulation to enhance student learning here in Sargent?
