The Student Alumni Association welcomes you to Connect for Success! In partnership with the Center for Career Development and the Newbury Center, we’re hosting a series of events that will provide you an opportunity to network with alumni and enter the next phase of your life feeling prepared and confident.
Connect for Success is an immersive experience that will teach you how to network, explain how to use the exclusive BU Connects platform, coach you through an etiquette dinner, provide a safe space to practice networking, and much more.

Networking 101 | October 8, 2024
Learn about the power of networking and use it to your advantage! This workshop includes identifying professional goals, utilizing your networking plan, and creating an elevator pitch. Tap into your alumni network using BU Connects, Handshake, LinkedIn, and CareerShift. Students will learn the key components to creating a strong elevator pitch to use during career fairs and networking opportunities. Dinner is provided!

How to Leverage LinkedIn and BU Connects | November 12, 2024
This 1-hour LinkedIn & BU Connects seminar will help you learn how to work (and network) smarter, not harder. We’ll highlight hidden features and best practices that will skyrocket your profile views and help you find opportunities, qualified leads, and talented Terriers who have volunteered their time and expertise to help you on your career journey.
