2026 Class Gift
The Class Gift Campaign is an opportunity for members of each graduating class to leave a legacy for their current and future Boston University community. The Class of 2025 broke a record and raised $101,000 across 1,700 donors, and the Class of 2026 is eager to beat them!!

By making your class gift of $20.26 or more to any campus fund you care about, you’ll earn your limited-edition red and white cord to wear at your graduation ceremony as a symbol of your commitment to philanthropy at BU. Want to get involved with our campaign or general board? Join our weekly board meetings tentatively scheduled for Mondays from 5:30–6:30 PM in the Alumni Board Room (1 Silber Way, 7th floor). What is the Class Gift Program?
At the start of each year, members of BU’s graduating class band together to support current and future BU students and to give thanks for the many opportunities their BU experiences has provided them.
How does it work?
- You can give online, or with cash or check
- Support any cause you want at BU!
- Schools and Colleges
- Varsity and Club Sports
- Student Clubs and Organizations
- Scholarships and Financial Aid
- And more!
- To attend exclusive events for donors

Why should I give?
- Rankings: The more people who give back, the better BU’s ranking (think job applications!)
- You choose: Maximize the impact of your gift by supporting what you care about at BU, from schools & colleges to clubs and sports
- Tuition doesn’t cover everything: Support from alumni, students, and friends allows BU to provide quality student programs, athletics, academics, and supplements financial aid for future students
- Donor exclusive events and perks like drink tickets: For events like Pub Trivia’s and the 100 Days Party
What are the giving levels & benefits?

- $20.26 or more – In honor of your graduation year, this is our most common giving level.
- With your class gift of $20.26 or more, you’ll earn your scarlet and white philanthropy cord to wear proudly at commencement and an exclusive invitation to President Gilliam’s Class Gift Reception at Sloane House in May.
