As hockey Terrier Chris Drury
(CAS'98) prepares to become Boston University's
all-time leading goal scorer -- at present his 98
career goals put him in a three-way tie with John
Cullen (SMG'87) and Bob Marquis (ENG'60) -- we go
back almost 12 years, when Cullen (left) is
pictured being stopped by sprawling Minnesota
goaltender Frank Pietrangelo in the first round of
the 1986 NCAA tournament. The Terriers lost the
game, 5-3. Drury almost broke the record in the
last minute of BU's 3-2 victory over Northeastern
on January 17, but he was robbed by diving Husky
goaltender Marc Robitaille. Photo by Ross Nakatsuji
