Service Recognition
Dinner
Each year at the annual Service Recognition
Dinner, Boston University honors those employees
who have completed 10 and 25 years of service as
well as those employees who are retiring from the
University. This year the dinner will be held on
April 29, 1998, at Metcalf Hall in the George
Sherman Union.
Invitations will be mailed in March to employees
who will have completed 10 and 25 years of service
by June 30, 1998, and to employees who have
announced their plans to retire from the
University. Any eligible employee who is planning
to retire this year, but who has not yet notified
his or her dean or vice president, may call Joanne
Letty, employee relations representative at the
Office of Personnel at 353-4515 no later than March
20, 1998, to be included in this year's program. If
you are planning to retire this year and wish to be
recognized as a retiree at this year's Service
Recognition Dinner, you must be at least 55 years
of age and have completed at least 10 years of
service by June 30, 1998.
