Rhett read-along: This year, BU's annual holiday book delivery to a dozen elementary schools and community centers in the Allston/Brighton area enlisted the help of members of the women's soccer, crew, and softball teams, the men's soccer team, and Rhett, the University's mascot. The program, now in its second year, gives out books to more than 500 second graders. On December 13, BU women's crew member Meghan Wright (SAR'02) joined Rhett and three second graders at the Garfield Elementary School in Brighton in a group read-along.
