Four new members join BU Board of Trustees

The Boston University Board of Trustees elected four new members at its annual fall meeting in October: Frederick Bertino (CAS'81), president and creative director of McCarthy Mambro Bertino LLC; Dexter Dodge, president and chief executive officer of Freedom Capital Management; Judith Friedberg-Chessin (SED'59), president of the Boston University Alumni; and Jeffrey Katzenberg, a principal partner of DreamWorks SKG.

High school student Justine Nagurney entered BU's Research Internship Program in Science and Engineering this past summer with limited research experience -- she had mastered the ability to follow the step-by-step instructions in her high school course manuals and had learned basic biology lab skills at a prior internship.

Couple's love of hockey expressed by memorial gift to Student Village

Saul Weiss had two loves in his life. The first was his wife, Donna. "The second was Boston University hockey," she says, recalling the former Terrier goaltender. In memory of her late husband, Donna Weiss recently pledged $250,000 to the 10-acre Student Village project on the old Armory site.
