Movement Lawyering: An Evening of Networking & Discussion
What's the relationship between law and community organizing? What opportunities exist for law students and new attorneys to engage in current social movements of the day?Find out on Monday, November 14th at 6:00 p.m. in Barristers Hall, as we host an evening of networking and discussion with Movement Lawyers and activists who have found interesting and impactful ways to utilize their skills as lawyers and organizers to contribute to social change in their communities.This event is open to all students who are interested in pursuing careers in public interest law, who are curious about ways of contributing to social movements as a lawyer, or who want to simply meet and have a discussion with lawyers/activists about important issues.PLEASE RSVP here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1dQT-ABLOrntiGOW-KedydebcBa1PyEYvjbffMQwQhGs/viewform?edit_requested=truehosted by Radical Lawyers: BU's National Lawyers Guild Chapter and co-sponsored by the Career Development OfficeDress Code: We kindly ask that you do not wear formal business attire.
