About Us

The Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) is an internationally known clinical and research center dedicated to advancing knowledge and providing care for anxiety, mood, sleep, and related disorders.

At CARD, expert clinical care is provided and, at the same time, research is ongoing to expand the range and style of successful treatment options for patients in need. Individuals seeking care at CARD will have the direct benefits of clinical care that is informed by previous research, and likewise will have opportunities to participate in ongoing research designed to further advance what is known about the nature and treatment of anxiety and related disorders.

We work hard to make sure that cutting edge treatments are available to individuals seeking care, regardless of cultural background and income. Although the address is 900 Commonwealth Avenue, CARD is located on St. Paul Street (corner of St. Paul and Commonwealth). Enter on side of building and take the elevator to the second floor.

Bus Schedules and Maps
57 Toward Watertown Yard: Get off at Buick Street. Cross the street.
57 Toward Kenmore: Get off at Commonwealth Avenue. Walk to the left until you see the CVS.

Boston Public Transit Map
Green Line B: Get off at Amory Street.
Green Line C or D: Get off at Kenmore. Then walk or take the 57 bus toward Watertown Yard and get off at Buick Street.
Green Line E: Get off at Arlington. Switch to the Green B Line toward Boston College. Get off at Amory Street.

Commuter Rail Map
If you are taking the commuter rail, you will likely switch trains or get on a bus at South or North station.

How to get here

Parking

There is metered parking around the building, as well as some street parking in Brookline. There is non-metered street parking in Brookline on a variety of streets including Egmont St. (between St. Paul and Pleasant), Thatcher St. (between Amory and Pleasant), and Pleasant St. (between Thatcher and Comm Ave.). Please note that Brookline (west of Commonwealth Avenue) has free two-hour parking, however, there are some signs prohibiting parking between 8 and 10 AM.

Another option is the Agganis Arena parking garage, located across Commonwealth Avenue (see map and additional information on the links below) https://www.agganisarena.com/plan-your-visit/parking/ They accept cash or credit card.
