Full-time tuition entitles a student to register for 18 credit hours; credit hours over 18 (up to 20) are considered an overload. Students are charged a fee for each credit hour above 18 (including non-academic credit hours, such as audited PDP classes). Students may use this form to apply for a waiver if the CAS student has a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher, or have completed at least 88 credits, but are not on senior standing. This form must be submitted no later than the end of the fourth week of classes. Students applying after the fourth week of classes may be required to pay extra tuition for 2 credit hours. Fees are not waived for over 20 credits.

Note: CAS Seniors (those who have completed 96 or more credits) do not need to apply for the fee waiver; it is granted automatically.

Fee waivers for the next semester will be processed once the current semester grades have been posted, as the approval process is dependent on all of your coursework.
