I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University and the director of the Social Development and Learning Lab. Prior to this position, I earned my doctorate in human development and psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education and then held a position as a postdoctoral researcher at the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics at Harvard University. I currently collaborate with game theorists, anthropologists, and other developmental psychologists to create new approaches to studying cooperation in children (see our Current Projects).

When I am not at the lab, I enjoy hiking, running the river, and playing drums in a post-emo rock band. EP forthcoming.
