EEK!

The Engineering Engagement Kit (EEK!) is an activity kit intended to expose children and their families to the interesting, exciting problems that engineers get to work on.

Welcome to EEK!

After a 1.5 year development process, EEK! officially launched in the winter of 2020. The kit consists of 7 hands-on activities and 1 take home activity that are meant to accomplish 3 main goals:

  1. Engage children and families in dialogue around engineering skills and careers
  2. Share CELL-MET research with the public
  3. Educate families about heart health

Thanks to generous funding from the National Science Foundation, 51 museums and centers received the EEK! kit along with a two-day, kit-implementation training.
