Valerie Williams
Business and Operations Manager, BU Tanglewood Institute
Valerie Williams is the Business and Operations Manager for the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Prior to joining the College of Fine Arts, Valerie gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry working on cruise ships. Valerie also spent several years at Classical Movements where she helped to organize a festival and world class concert tours for choirs and orchestras, including the Morgan State University Choir, the Los Angeles Children’s Choir-Young Men’s Ensemble, and the Rhapsody Music Festival-Vienna, Salzburg, and Prague.
Valerie returned to school where she earned her Master of Business from the College of William and Mary. While in attendance she was awarded, for two consecutive years, the student voted Community Builder Award, given to the person who the students believe makes the largest contribution to the Business School student body.
In her spare time, Valerie enjoys reading, baking, and traveling to new countries.
