The two-week Viola Workshop, under the direction of Boston University Associate Professor of Music Michelle LaCourse, presents a pedagogical approach to all aspects of viola playing and performance through individual and group study.
- Explore every aspect of viola playing, from posture to musicality
- Study the fundamentals of technique: left hand and intonation, right hand, tone, scales
- Develop musicianship, practice skills, and healthy playing
- Study of solo repertoire
- Individualized attention and masterclasses
- Performance opportunities
- Boston University transferable course credit
