What is the Undergraduate Classics Association?
The UCA is an organization open to any BU undergraduate who has an appreciation for the Classics. They host different performances, discussions, film screenings, and receptions throughout the year, which allow members to experience the glory of Greece and Rome outside the classroom and get to know one another better.
Annual events include the Ancient Comedy Reading where the UCA acts out an Aristophanes or Plautus comedy with the aid of guitars, rubber chickens, and student-created adaptations; and Gore-Fest, a Halloween-themed night of Greek tragedy and Roman gore.
If you are interested in joining or learning more, feel free to send the UCA an email at uca@bu.edu so they can add you to the mailing list.
