El Marie Gonzalez

El (she/they) is the Senior Program Administrator for the Community & Inclusion unit of the Office of the Provost. Prior to joining BU, she oversaw research lab operations and project management at Mass General Brigham, with a focus on cancer research. Across their managerial experience, they have supervised multidisciplinary research teams, international student research internship programs and post-graduate staff. In their free time, they enjoy thrifting, going to the movie theater, spending time with her dog, Dr. Chester, and being involved in the LGBTQIA+ community and its events. El received a B.A. in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez.
