Reena Reddy will walk through Salesforce as a platform and review the various industries it has penetrated into including Higher Ed institutions and Non-Profit organizations within our New England area. During this TECH Talk, the following topics will be addressed:

  1. What is Salesforce and how it emerged into a platform?
  2. How are so many organizations leveraging this platform as well as many out-of-the-box
    solutions to support their businesses?
  3. Review the career paths that Salesforce is now presenting and various certifications that go along with it.

Reena Reddy is the Associate Director of CRM & Admissions team at Boston University’s central IT department. She and her team support BU’s undergraduate recruiting and admissions systems. Reena has been in the IT industry for 24 years and has worked in Insurance, Health & Agriculture, Telecommunications, and Real Estate sectors prior to moving to New England. She has been working within Higher Ed for the past 12 years since her move to Boston. She has been working at BU for the last year and half. Reena has delivered multi-million dollar programs, products and services that varied from launching 3G network & wireless web in her early career to launching new or completely redesigned websites such as Welcome Wagon, realtor.com and alumni.hbs.edu.
