Blackboard Learn Single-Instance Deployment
Blackboard Learn (also referred to as Blackboard 9.1 or Blackboard Learn 9.1) is the newest version of Blackboard‘s Learning Management System (LMS). The Provost’s Office and Information Services & Technology have partnered to upgrade and consolidate all of the Blackboard LMS applications currently in use at the University. Full adoption of Blackboard Learn is expected to complete by September 2013. The current on-campus version of Blackboard (Blackboard 8) will still be operational until the end of Summer 2013
Current Status
The Blackboard Learn project is currently in its Production phase with faculty and students from around campus using the new LMS. View the full timeline.
The goal for day one deployment will be to match all of the functionality currently available from our LMSs. After the baseline has been established, the project team will implement the new features available in Blackboard Learn. See our deployment & training plan graphic for more detail.
