Student Support

Sometimes, life can take an unexpected turn. Your family or personal financial situation may change, or you might have a family crisis that you have to attend to. The Dean of Students offers programs and support for when your life takes these turns and you might need assistance.

If you are facing temporary food insecurity, our Terrier Meal Share program will help provide you access to food on-campus. This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students.
If you are need assistance due to a fire or other situation with your living situation, we have emergency loan funding available. Please reach out to dos@bu.edu
If you have a sudden family medical crisis that causes you to have to travel home, and you do not have funding to do so, our office may be able to assist. Please contact dos@bu.edu to inquire about what forms of travel assistance may be available for you.
