Additional tables and figures
In the book Macroeconomics in Context – A European Perspective, many key tables and key figures are presented for the euro area only or, at best, for a few selected additional countries. However, economic realities differ between different European countries and our firm belief (and experience) is that students better connect to material which they can more directly link to their own personal experience.
To enable lecturers to adapt the material more closely to the national environment they are teaching in, we have prepared a number of tables and figures which can be used to supplement the book and the original teaching slides.
The following tables can be downloaded:
- PowerPoint slides with real GDP, inflation, unemployment and recession bands for major EU countries
- Excel tables with GDP figures, spending approach, for all EU countries (the national equivalent of table 5.2 in the book)
- Excel tables with GDP figures, spending approach, for all EU countries (the national equivalent of table 5.3 in the book)
- Excel tables with balance of payments data, for all EU countries (the national equivalent of table 14.1 in the book)
