Michael Paasche-Orlow, M.D., M.P.H.

Co-Investigator

Dr. Paasche-Orlow is an Assistant Professor in the Section of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine. Health Literacy is the central focus of Dr. Paasche-Orlow’s research career.  Besides research relating to rehospitalization, Dr. Paasche-Orlow has worked on health literacy interventions for patients with diabetes mellitus and asthma, has examined the role of health literacy in medication adherence, mental health, informed consent, and end-of-life decision-making, and is currently involved in an intervention to promote exercise in the elderly.
