Dheem presents “Nirbhay: Empowerment Through Classical Dance on Friday, March 31 at 6 pm.
DHEEM, Boston University’s Classical Indian Arts Association, is dedicated to preserving classical dance and music forms at Boston University. Our association includes an Indian Classical competing team which incorporates several different forms including Bharatanatyam, Khathak, Kuchipudi, Munipudi and Odissi.
This year’s theme is EMPOWERMENT – in which we will be showcasing how different Indian classical dance and music styles reflect empowerment and strength through various forms. We hope the theme will allow dancers to represent the human race in a powerful way.

The performance will be in the Boston University Dance Theater.
