Hongjie Liu

HongjieHongjie Liu is Deputy Chief of the Audit Division in the Nanjing Resident Branch of the National Audit Office of China. During her 20-year tenure, she has managed almost every activity of the office, including provincial financial audits, economic accountability audits, business audits, and environmental audits. She was awarded the distinction of Excellent Civil Servant by the National Audit Office three times during the last five years. She has published several papers in China’s leading audit journals to promote the implementation of performance audits, and she has also conducted a variety of training courses at the China Institute of Internal Audit and Nanjing Audit University. Hongjie earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Nanjing Audit University and her MBA from Nanjing University. During her Humphrey year, she intends to examine public finance systems, management of the national budget and state-owned assets, and performance audits of fiscal funds in the United States.
