Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, was established at Boston University in 1952. Membership is open to undergraduates and graduates concentrating in history. Eligibility for undergraduates is based primarily on high scholastic achievement in all subjects and especially in the field of concentration. The faculty advisor for the BU chapter is Professor James Johnson (jhj@bu.edu).
Aevum – Journal of History
Aevum, Boston University’s Journal of History, was established in 2022 to provide the opportunity for undergraduates to improve their academic skills and learn about the publishing process.
