As an International Student Advisor, George Swartz advises international students on the U.S. visa and immigration system. Prior to joining BU Global Programs, George worked as a Senior Visa Coordinator at Hult International Business School.

George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Merrimack College and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The American University of Rome. He also has a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.

George studied abroad in Rome, Italy during college. He also taught English in Korea for four years prior to starting work in higher education. In his free time, he loves practicing his Korean and watching Korean TV. He is also passionate about experiencing different cultures though their food.
