Pardee Director and Fellows at UN Meeting of Thought Leaders

The Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer Range Future, Dr. Adil Najam, Pardee Center Faculty Fellow, Prof. Cutler Cleveland, and Pardee Center Post-Doctoral Fellow, Dr. Miquel Munoz, were three amongst a small group of leading experts and practitioners on sustainable development invited to the ‘Conclave of Thought Leaders on Sustainable Development’ organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

The meeting was called to review the state of knowledge on sustainable development and participants reviewed the evolution of the concept and its implementation over the last many years.

Held parallel to the 17th session of the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development, the session allowed those attending the meeting to interact with the delegates to CSD-17.
