Energy Transitions

This is an interview with 2009 Pardee Graduate Summer Fellow Peter O’Connor about his Pardee Paper Energy Transitions. O’Connor analyzes the history of energy transitions in the United States and finds lessons for future energy transitions in the developing world. The full text of his paper is available in the 2010 Publications Archive. O’Connor was also the co-coordinator of a year long seminar series called The Sawyer Seminar on Energy and Society. The series was hosted by the Pardee Center and the BU Department of Geography & Environment. The seminar was supported by the Andrew Mellon Foundation.
