Michaela McSweeney joined BU’s philosophy department in 2016, after receiving her PhD from Princeton University, teaching middle school and high school in Boston, and receiving her BA from UMass Boston. Her main interests are (i) in metaphysics, the philosophy of logic, and the philosophy of mathematics; (ii) epistemology; and (iii) social/political philosophy, especially feminist philosophy and the philosophy of mental health and illness.
