Survivor Support

We have resources for all students, but eligibility for survivor services varies:

• If you are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student, you can use all survivor services at SARP—regardless of what health insurance plan you have.
• Part-time, on-campus students with the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) can use all survivor services at SARP.
• Part-time, on-campus students without SHIP—as well as online students—are not eligible for individual counseling services. However, they can call the crisis line, get help in an emergency, and use advocacy services and groups. We can also refer you to community providers for more services. Our services are free of charge. We do not bill your insurance.

You may schedule non-urgent appointments online through Patient Connect. You can also call 617-353-7277 to schedule an appointment during business hours. If you are experiencing an emergency and looking for advocacy support after hours, please call the crisis line at 617-353-7277, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Yes, all survivor services are confidential. Counselors will not share information with the University, your parents, or anyone else without your written permission. Read our confidentiality policy.
