Dear colleagues,
Faculty at SPH have access to a wide variety of opportunities for faculty development. The portfolio of programs and resources, which are described in the Faculty Handbook, includes our Faculty Development Seminar Series (FDSS). The FDSS is updated each semester to include seminars and workshops from three different sectors: SPH department-level events, SPH school-wide events, and University-wide events.

- The National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity: BU sponsors memberships for all faculty. Resources include monthly seminars, accountability programs, and 1-on-1 coaching.
- 2025 Administration Transition Information & Resources: University-wide guidance and updates on research funding and practices, maintained by the BU Office of Research.
- Faculty Development Seminar Series: Each month, the SPH Faculty Resources Office put together a list of upcoming faculty development events. This page also has links to previous events and recordings.
- Terrier eDevelopment: A library of trainings created and maintained by BU, ranging in topics from technical program training to using social media effectively.
- BU Clinical & Translational Science Institute Mentoring Resources: Offers information on how to make the most of a mentor and mentee relationship, including tips for mentors.
- BU Office of Research: Hosts workshops and events focused on building research skills and discussions of breakthrough research from across BU.
