Dean G. Sujin Pak

February’s event will focus on the scholarly work of G. Sujin Pak. Dr. Pak is Dean of the School of Theology and Professor of the History of Christianity here at Boston University. She is is an expert in the history of Christianity with a focus on the early modern period, the Protestant Reformation, and the history of biblical interpretation. Dr. Pak has taught courses on the history of Christianity, the Protestant reformers, the history of biblical interpretation, and medieval female mystics. In her teaching, Dr. Pak encourages students to engage with not only a variety of perspectives, but also the social contexts whence those perspectives emerged.
Our conversation with Dr. Pak will be centered on her article “The Protestant Reformers and the Jews: Excavating Contexts, Unearthing Logic” published in the journal Religions.
