The program fee for the AIM program includes tuition, textbooks and all sponsored activities during the three-week program. Room & Board for residential students includes room, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A $750 nonrefundable deposit (applied to tuition) is required once you commit to attending AIM in order to secure your place in the program.

The application fee and spending money are not included in the total charge. You may also purchase a three-week membership to BU’s Fitness & Recreation Center for an additional fee when you arrive on campus.

A $25 fee is added to your account for each Student Health Services visit.

There is no financial aid available for the AIM program.

Note: Application fees and tuition deposits are nonrefundable. No refund or reduction in the total charge will be made if you arrive to the program late, leave the program early, or are dismissed from the program due to a violation of the program guidelines.

Payment deadline

The payment deadline is June 1, 2024 or the date indicated in your offer of acceptance. Full payment not received by the deadline may result in the cancellation of your registration.

How to pay

BU accepts payment for AIM by credit card, check, or international wire transfer. You will need your BU ID number to submit payment.

Specific information for making payment, along with your BU ID number, is provided through the online enrollment portal. After completing your electronic Participation Agreement form and paying your $750 nonrefundable deposit, you will receive an email with information about accessing the portal.

Note: International students are also required to submit their Immunization Requirements Form before they can be registered for the program and receive a BU ID number.
