Summer Preview seminars meet every day for one week. You select one seminar from the following three choices:

Creative Writing: Finding Your Voice

Learn to find sources of inspiration for your creativity. Discuss and critique one another’s work in a supportive workshop environment.

Discovering Biology: Building Blocks of Life

What makes up a cell? How do different cell types function? How are the four macromolecules of life (DNA, proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids) used to make discoveries in genetic diseases? This seminar focuses on molecular biology concepts and genetics. You will participate in college-level biological laboratory activities.

Introduction to Business: Investing in Your Future

High School Summer Preview Seminars - Introduction to Business: Investing in Your Future

Spend a week getting to know the essential components of business, exploring a different area of expertise each day: marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and management. Site visits, lectures, readings, and case studies will provide perspective on business practices, culminating with your “elevator pitch” to the class on your business area of choice.
