Information Services & Technology is pleased to announce the Boston University Laptop Personal Purchase Program. The program has been created to provide Boston University students, faculty and staff with the opportunity to purchase business class laptop computers from Lenovo at significantly discounted prices. We have leveraged our high volume purchasing power on institutional computers as well as the university’s long standing relationship with Lenovo to provide this benefit to you.

Benefits of the laptop purchase program are:

  • Savings of 20% or more off retail costs.
  • Extended manufacturer’s warranty, including accidental damage coverage, for all laptop purchases.
  • Clients that participate in the program will be eligible to receive on-campus support from the IT Help Center at 179 Amory Street in Brookline, MA.
    • On-campus services include both in and out of warranty hardware related repairs as covered by the manufacturer’s base and extended limited warranty.
  • Eligibility for optional, future trade-in for newer models.
  • Loaner units will be made available for laptops purchased through the program while they are in for service.
  • Each laptop comes with a protective sleeve and network cable.
