There are 4 comments on ER Care for Sexual Assault Victims

  1. Very well done. I have been a SANE for more that 15 years and completed over 100 exams. It’s nice to see physicians and nurses dedicate their time an energy to this population. Also, your ability to teach and reach out to new residents and mentor them through the correct way to examine victims and collect evidence is epic. So few physicians have had the opportunity for this kind of training.

  2. What is your thought about a ER that has 2 rooms designated for SA/DV exams, but now cameras have been put into the rooms and it is expected that the SANE nurses will complete exams in their office?

  3. With the increase in the population and new and new diseases it is really important for government to provide with funds that will fulfill the demands. It is really true thanks for posting and spreading concern.
