    Rich Barlow is a senior writer at BU Today and Bostonia magazine. Perhaps the only native of Trenton, N.J., who will volunteer his birthplace without police interrogation, he graduated from Dartmouth College, spent 20 years as a small-town newspaper reporter, and is a former Boston Globe religion columnist, book reviewer, and occasional op-ed contributor.   1. Thanks for this post recognizing Professor Kunz…I was a student in his ecology class at the time of his accident and he was a truly awesome professor. And he definitely loves his bats! I’d even hoped to work in his bat lab this semester but had to settle for merely tranferring into CECB from COM instead :). Best wishes for his recovery and quick return to the biology department.
