Transportation/Directions
Transportation:
Boston University’s closest airport is Boston Logan International, New England’s largest transportation center. Boston Logan International Airport is served by the MBTA, Boston’s public transit system; a taxi from the airport to BU’s campus should cost approximately $40. Further away, but also accessible are airports in Manchester, New Hampshire and Providence, Rhode Island. If taking the train, attendees should arrive at Boston’s South Station, which is a short subway or taxi ride to campus.
Guests who will be driving to the conference are welcome to use Boston University Parking while they are on campus. Parking Services recommends that all guests use the Granby Lot, which is located at 665 Commonwealth Avenue. Parking at Boston University costs $12 per day.
Those guests who will be taking Boston public transportation should take the Green B line to Boston University Central for all events held in the Photonics Center. The Photonics Center is located on St. Mary’s Street, just a 30 second walk from the train.
