As Director, Mary McCloskey oversees all aspects of Boston University’s Dublin programs. She joined BU Dublin in 2002 as the Program Manager, having recently returned to live in Dublin after spending five years working at Princeton University. Mary was promoted to the position of Program Director of BU Dublin in 2007 and has continued to flourish in this role since.
Her educational background is in finance, having started her career at the Central Bank of Ireland. While there, she undertook the Banking Certificate and Trustee Diploma, earning third place in Ireland in the latter. Mary enjoys mentoring and enhancing the students’ study abroad experience, as they settle into life in Dublin. Witnessing their growth over the semester, both academically and personally, is one of the many rewards of her career. Her hobbies include exercise, walking, and puzzles.
