As a Program Manager, Rachel Parola is responsible for programs in Berlin, Geneva, Los Angeles, Paris, Prague, and Santiago. Her responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for each of these programs, assisting in applicant recruitment, responding to program inquiries and issues, admissions, managing pre-departure programming, and liaising with site staff members.

Prior to joining BU Study Abroad, Rachel worked in the Harvard University International Office and Boston College Lynch School Office of Strategic Initiatives and External Relations while completing her master’s degree. Before studying for her masters, she worked at The Boston Foundation.

Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education and a Certificate in International Higher Education from Boston College. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a Minor in French from the College of Charleston.

Rachel studied abroad four times during college, completing a three-week history course in Paris; a semester-long management program in Strasbourg; a week-long service project in Cameroon; and a two-month internship in Paris. She loves learning about new places and cultures and enjoys spending time with her dog, Pesto.
