Yessenia Valencia

As Senior Manager of University Relations and Campus Outreach, Yessenia Valencia is responsible for all on-campus marketing and recruitment activities for BU Study Abroad (BUSA). She leads on-campus efforts to drive engagement with Study Abroad and serves as a primary recruiter and spokesperson at university-wide events.

Prior to being promoted to Senior Manager, Yessenia held the position of Program Coordinator for BUSA, where she provided front-line reception, general advising duties, and processing of application and pre-departure documents. Before working in study abroad, Yessenia worked for the Learning Assistant Program with Florida International University’s STEM Institute.

Yessenia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Florida International University.
