Graduate Medical Sciences Policy

MA, MS, and PhD degrees are awarded in August, January, and May. Commencement exercises are held in May only. Students must submit diploma applications to the GMS Registrar by the appropriate graduation deadline. These deadlines are available on the GMS website. The diploma application is valid only for the graduation date specified; a new application must be submitted if the student does not graduate as planned. Diploma applications and the regulations on the preparation of theses and dissertations are available on the GMS website.
