ENG Undergraduate Program Planning Sheets and Course Sequencing Tool
Each undergraduate degree program offered by the College of Engineering has an associated Program Planning Sheet that visualizes a typical sequence of courses required for that degree. As long as course prerequisites are met, the order in which courses are taken is flexible.
The Course Sequencing Tool is designed to help students customize and visualize their sequential path through the requirements of the ENG degree programs. Using the ‘Operative Plan,’ students chart their progress term by term and can plan for future terms and different scenarios using draft plans. The Program Planning Sheets and the Course Sequencing Tool were designed to assist students and faculty advisors in planning an individualized academic program for each student that satisfies all degree requirements. Both include a checklist to help keep track of required Hub requirements that are not covered by the Engineering curriculum.
Program Planning Sheets can be found here. The Course Sequencing Tool information, instructions, and access can be found here.
Students can also monitor their progress toward the completion of their degree using Degree Progress Report on the MyBU Student Portal.
