MBA/MS in Digital Technology (MBA/MSDT)

The MBA/MSDT is an 84-unit (minimum) program that awards both an MBA and a Master of Science in Digital Technology. The program consists of a minimum of 55 units of MBA courses (31 required units and 24 elective units) and 29 units of MS courses (20 required units and 9 elective units).

Learning Outcomes

MSDT students will develop:

  • Basic, functional competence in the core areas of systems architecture, analysis, and design, networking, and data management.
  • Ability to leverage technology for strategic advantage in business.
  • Ability to apply technology effectively and efficiently to business operations.

Please note: If a student drops from the MBA/MSDT program, all MSDT required courses will be counted toward the MBA, and the student may graduate when the student has fulfilled the 64-unit degree requirement. Students who receive a “W,” “F,” or “I” grade in a Core class, excluding Executive Skills classes and QST PL 700, cannot continue to be cohorted in the following term.
