SAR HS 551
This course provides an introduction in the scientific foundations of nutrition and focuses on the relationship between diet and health. Scientific information is presented in preparation for discussion of macro- and micro nutrients, including metabolism, and the role of nutrition in human health and disease. This course is intended for pre-health and nutrition majors. For non-majors, see SAR HS 201 – Introduction to Nutrition.
