Open Faculty Positions
Part-time Lecturer in Management
Boston University’s Metropolitan College is seeking applicants for part-time teaching positions in Management with expertise in one of the following disciplines: Business Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Innovation, and Business Management. Candidates with strong backgrounds in other related areas are also encouraged to apply.
Metropolitan College, one of the degree granting schools and colleges of Boston University, is a leader in providing graduate and undergraduate programs offered in flexible delivery formats, including face-to-face, blended, and online.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in the related field preferred; Master’s degree required. Prior teaching or professional experience in the discipline is a strong advantage.
Compensation is based on the union negotiated rates for part-time lecturers for Boston University, and is paid on per-course, per-semester basis.

Paid Research Assistant
The Boston University GDP Center is seeking paid Research Assistants to support the Global China Initiative’s Data Analysis for Transparency (D.A.T.A.) team. Students’ preferred qualifications:
- Pursuing a major or concentration in international development, international relations, international policy, economics or finance, and energy and environment.
- Knowledge and/or interest in learning about China and/or Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia or Southeast Asia regions.
- Knowledge or interest in energy projects and infrastructure related to energy generation, transmission and distribution and exploration and extraction is preferred.
- Ability to work in Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Farsi and Burmese is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of public source research or a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in conducting Boolean searches on Google
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft and Google suite is required.
- Ability to work at least 15 hours per week until May 17, 2025 is required.
