BU Giving Day 2021 is This Wednesday, April 7th!

April 7th is BU giving day!

Boston University’s African American Studies Program is proud to be at the center of conversations about tolerance, justice, cultural change and indeed diversity. Our goal is to allow students practical training in such issues along with the theoretical tools necessary for either more advanced study or a more direct engagement in any range of professional fields.

Our program is multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary, with world class scholars from History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, English, Art and Art History, Music, Ethnomusicology, Religion, and more. Because of this, there is room for students to pursue a wide range of interests while satisfying the background goals of the program.

African American Experiences have always been the acid test of American possibilities. This is why our program is proud to be at the center of conversations about tolerance, justice, cultural change and indeed diversity.
For 24 hours on BU Giving Day, every gift has an even bigger impact. Thanks to a group of generous donors, bonus funds are up for grabs! Your gift helps earn bonus funds for CAS.
