Cady graduated from Boston University in 2012 with a degree in History and a Minor in the History of Art and Architecture. In 2018, she obtained her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, with a sub-concentration in Higher Education Administration from the Wheelock College of Education and Human Development. In her graduate work, she focused on graduate and faculty affairs relating to governance and decision-making, the adjunctification of higher education, and the portrayal of higher education in popular culture.
In the department, Cady oversees financial and academic planning, space management, and graduate and faculty administrative functions in African American and Black Diaspora Studies and History.
Outside of work, Cady follows local school politics in her hometown of Everett, and manages her fantasy football team.
