Suzanne Caruso

High school History teacher, Prospect Hill Academy Charter School
Suzanne has taught in the Boston area for the past ten years and has worked on developing her skills as a culturally responsive educator. She is committed to social justice and anti-bias practices and spends time outside of her classroom teaching, working with schools in order to approach anti-bias and anti-racist work from a place of mindfulness and deep commitment to making sustainable change.
Suzanne is incredibly interested in all the TAT program has to offer but most especially on learning about the medieval ages in the continent of Africa and the significant contribution the continent made to the world during that time period. She is also invested in taking those truths and using them to help show students just how the continent has continued to contribute to the global world in profound ways.
