If you have never logged on before, but have an KEY ACCESS code, follow these steps:

1. Go to achieve.macmillanlearning.com and click on "create account." If you already have a Macmillan Learning account you can log in with your existing credentials and skip to step 4.

2. On the Create an Account window::
   a. Fill in your name, email, and create your password.
   b. Start typing in your institution to select from the options that appear. Select "Boston University"
   c. Set all three security questions
   d. Accept the terms of use and click ″Create Account.″
   
3. Login
4. You should see something like the window shown below.

5. Here you have a choice if you have not purchased access and 1) want to purchase, or 2) want a 14-day trail ("Grace Period")

   If you have your access code already, enter it and you are on your way.

6. If you try a 14-day trial, you will get a window as shown below:

   You'll see a listing of our course. Our course is "Boston University - BI/CH 421 - Fall21 - A1-TOLAN." As you can see, our course ID is "cznk5x." Click the link.
