Learn to cook a mean meal

Your next Taco Tuesday just got an upgrade. Lincoln Fuge (SHA’05) Head Chef at Present Company Public House in Washington, D.C. will be doing a live cooking demonstration on one of his famous chicken dishes that can easily be transformed into a delicious tortilla soup or implemented into a taco. He will also be guiding us through his refreshing muddled margarita recipe. Gather the ingredients and tune-in ready to cook alongside him on May 4.

See how studios are producing shows

The new quarantine era is doing quite a number on the entertainment industry. Hosts like John Oliver and Samantha Bee are broadcasting from their apartments or over iPhone. Scripted shows are adapting in surprising ways to feed our need for video content. We’re hosting a lively conversation with Bonnie Hammer (CGS, COM, Wheelock, Hon.), Chairman, NBC Universal Content Studios, and Jay Roewe (COM), Senior Vice President of West Coast Production at HBO about how studios are answering the challenge of producing great shows in this new normal. Register today and join us on April 30.

Take a breather

Allowing our bodies to enter a state of deep rest for an extended period of time is essential for overall mental, emotional, and physical well-being, but extremely hard to do. Join BU alumna and yoga instructor, Corinne Tramuta (MET’17) on May 11 for a one-hour restorative yoga class focused on meditation and deep breathing. If you’re looking for an afternoon-pick-me-up, join Jordan Borkan (Questrom’12) on Instagram Live on May 8. Jordan will walk through poses that will help combat the effects of sitting down for long periods of time.
